Gay Magazines

Adult mags that specialize in pornographic material designed for gay men are called gay sex magazines. These hardcore magazines contain images of men having sex with other men and also other images that are suggestive to gay sex practices. These magazines are targetted towards homosexual men but often attract a readership from women as well who are interested and turned on by gay sex in much the same way lots of hetrosexual men enjoy reading and looking at lesbian mags.

Such publications provide photographs or other illustrations of nudity and sexual activities, including oral sex, anal sex, and other various forms of such activities. These magazines primarily serve to stimulate sexual thoughts and emotions. Some gay magazines are very general in their variety of illustrations, while others may be more specific and focus on particular activities or fetishes.

Playgirl magazine (U.S., monthly 1973 - present) and Viva magazine ( U.S., 1970s), although targeted to heterosexual women, attract a large gay male readership as well.

Mostly the same type of laws apply to gay sex magazines as it does to hetrosexual hardcore magazines and it is largely dependant on the rules and laws of each country to enforce there own guidelines, however there are many countries that are not as liberal and class all forms of hetrosexual activity and media as obscene!
