Police are hunting for £700 worth of underwear and sex toys after an Ann Summers saleswoman had her bags stolen.

The black plastic bags were stolen when Janine Jenkin's car was broken into in Swanage, Dorset, last week.

She told BBC News Online the thief stole only the adult goods and left her handbag and CD player alone.

Dorset Police urged anyone who has recently been offered "a rather unusual amount of Ann Summers sexy underwear and sex toys" to contact them.

The bags were taken from the car while it was parked at the junction of Days Road and the High Street in Herston between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

I'm amazed. It's not something anybody in their right mind would want to steal because it's second hand," Mrs Jenkin said.

"It's never been used before but none of it is packaged. I use it for demonstration purposes."

"It's terrible. I've only been doing it since November, and it was going pretty well."

"I had a lot of parties booked and then this happens."

"The worst thing is it was taken by someone who knows what I do and knew where to find the stuff."

"I don't mind if I get it back, I just want them caught."

It would be some time before she would be able to afford to buy another pack of equipment, she said.
