Spit roasting is a sexual act between three people, and can refer to two males and a female, or three males, although a strap-on dildo can allow women to take the place of the penetrating men. The centre person (the female or the third male) is most often in the doggy position (although one could also be spit roasted while on one's back) and is penetrated either anally or vaginally by one of the males. The centre person then simultaneously performs fellatio on the second male.
The position, when performed with the centre person in the doggy position, gives the appearance that the person in the middle looks like they are on a spit, hence the term spit roasting because they are impaled at both ends.
This position is also known as a "bookender", "Chinese fingercuffs", or a "wobbly H". It was mentioned in the mainstream movie Chasing Amy (directed by Kevin Smith) when character Alyssa Jones mentioned having participated in a spit roast with two friends from high school, as a result of which she earned the nickname "Finger Cuffs".
The term roasting (as opposed to spit roasting) has, since around 2003, taken on a meaning somewhat closer to gang bang in the United Kingdom. In other words, the act is not limited to only three people, but often involves one female and numerous males, with the men all taking turns to penetrate the female vagina, anus and mouth. |
